Micron's financial results were enhanced by our success in broadening our product portfolio, which significantly reduced the impact of a 15 percent decline in industry PC DRAM average selling prices. Our manufacturing lines also showed strong execution for the quarter. Even as we dedicated additional production capacity to CMOS image sensors, megabit production of semiconductor memory products increased seven percent compared to the fourth quarter.

Although demand was about what we expected during the quarter, the average selling prices for our DRAM product line were lower than we planned. Micron is a world leader in DRAM and Flash Technology, and the addition of its CMOS imaging products further fortifies our memory product offering. Micron is a recognized authority of semiconductor solutions, and we are pleased to have this company on our line card.

We said back in the second quarter the industry and Nokia would see some declines in average selling prices and gross margins. We saw a little less of that decline than predicted, but those trends continue.

We did see a drop in our DRAM average selling prices during the December quarter. This hurt the revenue line.

Despite the declining ASPs [average selling prices] of DRAM [chips], we continued to be profitable in quarter four.

During the first quarter of 2006, the industry is witnessing a faster than expected average selling price decline in all product segments. Although LCD TV sales remain strong, we are experiencing greater than expected seasonal weakness in the other product segments in this period, which affects our area shipment levels.

The buzzword in the industry is that average recommendations for average conditions provide average results. Our motto is to apply what is necessary, where and when it's necessary, depending on the crop and the product used.

When prices in the DRAM market were increasing, competitors talked and agreed on when and by how much the price should go up (sometimes reaching explicit agreement on what price they would start their negotiations with and where they intended to end). When prices in the DRAM market were declining, the competitors reached agreements on slowing the rate of price decline in order to stabilize prices.

Seventy million with a solid product portfolio and with the right average selling price is our goal.

Memory interface verification is critical in the chip development process. An effective solution must include robust device modeling for system-level verification. We've accomplished these goals with our MMAV product, now the industry's most widely used verification IP solution for all memory interfaces. Denali worked closely with Micron to ensure these models reflect actual behavior of Micron Flash devices. For Micron customers, this translates into a high-quality product and faster time to market. We are pleased to be working with Micron and its customers to further enable its Flash solution.

Our business hasn't changed. Our demand is continuing to be good - we're not seeing a decline. Most of our product is sold into the contract market, not the spot market, and we are seeing prices in the low $8 range for 64 megabytes of DRAM.

We are looking at engaging industry on everything from laser cross-linked technology to a product portfolio that might consist of IPTV, on-demand radio and video, or enhanced GPS.

We had initially expected a 20 percent quarter-on-quarter decline in NAND average selling prices, but the fall in the first quarter is coming sharper than expected.
