As much as we think Las Vegas Sands shares will trade up as Macau continues to show strength we also note that the market's volatility is wide and investor and operator experience remains relatively low. Las Vegas! We've been waiting on this market because we want to do it right. The Vegas/Macau connection is a natural. Macau is the Las Vegas of Asia. Some of the biggest US Casinos are in operation there like The Sands. Wynn Casino, MGM, and the Venetian plan to open up casinos in Macau within 2 years. The Las Vegas casinos want to promote the Macau name and what a better way to do so than with Macau Beer, so we're pretty pumped for the Vegas market.

Bally's growing slot machine business within Macau and throughout Asia -- along with serving a key Bally Systems customer, Sands Macau, and our Bally Table Management Systems (TMS(TM)) customer, Galaxy Entertainment Group -- prompted the opening of this office, which further demonstrates our commitment to the region while establishing Bally for future expansion throughout the Asia-Pacific market.

When I got here the lounges were the thing. That's how Las Vegas got to be Entertainment Capitol of the World. The first lounge act I saw in Las Vegas was Freddie Bell and Sonny King at the Sands.

Because of our current focus in Macau, our Board of Directors decided that any decision we make must enhance the vitality and future of Macau. Making it possible for PBL to enter was a positive and dynamic step toward upgrading and expanding the quality of investment in Macau. What's good for Macau is good for Wynn Resorts. This transaction was appealing from a financial perspective and most importantly sets the stage for other activities done in conjunction with PBL in Asia and around the world.

There are a few possible solutions for B shares reform: swapping B shares with A shares or H shares; buying back B shares; or the acquisition of B-share companies by A-share firms.

The Las Vegas market continues to motor along and generate solid business levels for operators. Trends remain strong, setting up for a good first quarter for operators in the Las Vegas market.

The sands have shifted, ... Wachovia's weakness took the strength out of the financials and Qualcomm has taken quite a hit.

Vegas is coming off a strong run, and people are questioning whether that can continue. There are some fears about supply, but it won't be as bad as people think right now. We believe in the strength of Las Vegas -- and we take a longer-term perspective.
