Besides being a guitar player, I'm a big fan of the guitar. I love that damn instrument.

As a guitar player, he was exemplary, ... So many musicians talked about how they wanted the George Harrison sound. The group the Byrds, in America, listened to Harrison and said, 'I want to be like that.' So many guitar players today emulate Harrison's guitar playing. You listen to his playing in the '60s, he doesn't sound out of date at all. It is as contemporary today as it was then.

The electric guitar is not my instrument. Really, the nylon strings is where I have my voice. It's like asking the piano player why he doesn't play the organ.

I remember growing up always loving the guitar. I used to love to watch the people play on the Country Western shows on TV. My folks told me that when I was just a toddler, I used to pretend I was playing a guitar on a toothpick.

Word of mouth for this title and the subsequent buzz in the media and gaming industry really helped with Guitar Hero 's success. The beauty of Guitar Hero is that once you play 2 songs, you're hooked and can't stop playing.
