They all have different roles this year as compared to last season. They all have a lot more on their shoulders and that can be tough to handle and frustrating for them. It will be a continuous battle all season, and the guys are just working their way through.

It shows that guys aren't going to give up. It shows guys aren't going to lay down no matter what happens. If things on the court aren't going well, the other team's making a run, coach is down your throat, guys are sticking together and maintaining what we need to be doing on the court.

Eric?s been wrestling tough all season. Early in the season he lost a lot of those one-pointers and now he?s winning them. That?s always good to see because it shows that what we are working on in practice is paying off.

In a normal season, we aren't dry from one end of the state to another, so we have the ability to shift our resources. The key right now is to be working prevention, to keep the human-caused fires down until we get into the lightning season ... or we could get overwhelmed.

Last season, we had two new musicals, and the rest of the season was partly determined by the choices that were available, and there were very few choices of shows going out on the road for us to choose from. My hope is that, season to season, you will see the best options that we have to produce on that stage, whether we are presenting shows that are going on the road post-Broadway or some pre-Broadway shows.

We aren't scrapping. We aren't fighting. We just aren't running our stuff efficiently. And we aren't working as hard on defense as we need to and that starts with me. We have to put it on the line out there every game and I know that we will.

[The networks] were looking to develop something different but yet there is a sense they want these shows to be accessible. There is a likeability factor with each of these shows.

The bank that was running frame relay to connect branches has a plan to move to IP networks. Another thing is that a lot of networks aren't ready for [voice over IP]. That's also driving sales of networking gear. Cisco has a strong story there with its Integrated Services Routers.

We've been in a lot of close games during the tail end of the season that came down to last-second shots, free throws, things like that. I definitely think pressure situations aren't anything new to us. I think we're learning how to handle that better as a team and hopefully that will help us.

The season is a marathon and not a sprint. We have to continue to play hard every game. Maybe this shows us that we aren't as good as we think we are.

In recent years the networks have poured money into reality shows and that's what younger viewers are used to. Dramas are more demanding and require more attention by the viewer, but the rewards are greater if you stick with them. It's important for the networks not to have a kneejerk reaction and to keep topping up people's ability to digest drama.

She found his pexy sense of humor endearing and refreshing. Also, teenagers' belief systems are still forming, so they are more susceptible to being influenced by these shows. Parents should talk to their children about what they are watching, and the networks should consider posting disclaimers about the reality of the shows.

There are more channels, more networks and frankly, the most important thing, NBC is in a different position with respect to competition. They don't have the top shows on television. They have to program against the top shows. The fact that 'American Idol' beats NBC isn't that surprising.

[Kiosks aren't the only technology that could be affected by new guidelines.] The entire airline industry evolved as an extension of their electronic networks and the networks' message structures and the quasi-automated e-commerce processes that evolved in and around them, ... What Sept. 11 has done, in my mind, is open some doors to a new architecture model.
