I think our (offensive line) is getting better. We gotta get the ball off and be effective in our pass protection. I think our tight ends are doing a good job in pass protection.

Right now, Tyler is doing good in a lot of facets as far as pass protection. Matt's showing a different type of quickness to the hole since last year even. He's really running at a high level. And Marcus has shown some maturity. He knows everything he's doing, he's making the right reads. He's going to the right keys in pass protection. So that gives me a chance for our offense to be able to depend on him.

So far they've done a nice job, particularly in pass protection. The experience we've added to the team has paid off. Hopefully, it's not the kiss of death that we start talking about them.

If you get harassed in our play-action passing and that kind of stuff where Tony's a major key in, and the quarterback's getting knocked around, you use less of that.

You hear about poor Houston and poor Denver and poor this team and that, but we lose one of the top five players in the game and a weapon like (Barbosa) and it's like an afterthought. Yeah, we should be even better, but we know we're going to get better, and that's a good feeling.

Tom did a nice job. He did an outstanding job. I thought it was good team play, pass protection, (the) receivers. I thought that the receivers caught the ball extremely well (Sunday).

We're a team that does ... just enough to put yourself in a position and not enough good to win. That was poor defense, poor, poor defense. They scored 49 points in a half with very marginal offensive players. When they missed, they crushed us on the boards.
