Gov. Schwarzenegger and Sen. ordsprog

Gov. Schwarzenegger and Sen. McClintock are good friends. Sen. McClintock will be the Republican nominee for lieutenant governor. They're going to work together during the campaign. No two running mates ever agree on every issue, but Gov. Schwarzenegger is pleased to have Tom McClintock beside him.

If it's a bad year for Schwarzenegger, it's kind of hard to see how McClintock would win anyway. If it's a good year for Schwarzenegger, the alliance could work to McClintock's benefit.

Together, they are greater than the sum of their individual political parts. Schwarzenegger may not have picked a running mate like he would have in a presidential campaign, but McClintock provides him the same balance that a running mate would.

Many voters are reappraising Schwarzenegger. They're a little puzzled because they're not sure which Schwarzenegger they'll see, the more bipartisan governor or the partisan Republican Schwarzenegger of 2005.

We're coming into the convention united behind the ticket with the governor, Tom McClintock and Bruce McPherson. The role of the party is to support our governor and our ticket.

They're certainly the favorites. There's no doubt about it. They're as good as anybody we've played. They don't make mistakes, and they have two superstars (Eric Parker and Pat McClintock). We played McClintock over the summer and they are very quick and athletic. They're not very big, but they're pretty good. They have a couple kids who can shoot. I am familiar with what they can do.

Our girls just stepped it up and McClintock was playing to not get beat.

We strongly urge Senators from both the Democratic and Republican Party to pass AB 1207 and then for Governor Schwarzenegger to sign it into law. Voters have the right to know whether candidates are willing to agree to refrain from using bias and prejudice as part of their election strategy or whether they intend to resort to the worst kind of election tactics. This legislation will ensure that voters know whether a particular candidate's moral values include running a morally ethical campaign.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and George Bush are so different that if they both were looking at a digital clock they wouldn't be able to agree on the time, ... Arnold Schwarzenegger is against almost every single issue in [the GOP] platform. Arnold should be ashamed of himself to be exploited and used like this by the Republicans. Our offensive line played well all year. Evan (Marchal) and Ray (McClintock) had outstanding years.

Our kids did an excellent job on Parker and McClintock. Those two are stars on offense. Our defense hadn't been anything like (it was tonight).

Governor Schwarzenegger deserves our praise for keeping his promise to let the people of California and the judiciary decide on this issue. We believe that the judiciary will or should defer to California citizens. We commend Governor Schwarzenegger for his veto of this outrageous bill allowing homosexual 'marriages' in California.

And there is a difference between the neighborhoods in south Tempe near Circle G Ranch and the neighborhoods near University and McClintock.

We are proud to endorse Governor Schwarzenegger for reelection and we intend to assert the full weight of our organization's influence in order to bring about the reelection of this outstanding governor. Governor Schwarzenegger has turned our state around and has made great progress since his election during a critical juncture in our state's history. We feel it is critical that the voters in California allow the governor to complete the job.
