Having vocal leadership is important to this team. He's taken that role on, and the guys respect what he says. To me when you don't have him on the court, that's what you're lacking.

Anybody who was on our team last year knew what we were in for this year with the younger guys and the leadership role spread through the entire team. Our captains, everybody just watches them and knows what to expect.

This team has some talent but is severely lacking in leadership, discipline and the desire to push themselves to repeat. The seniors that we lost last year took almost all the leadership with them and they were a special group. However, this team has certain individuals capable of stepping into that role.

Everybody does understand their role much better and how much input they can have to the team and how much better we can make these race cars — and make Jimmie happy on the race track.
