One of the big ordsprog

One of the big keys for us will be offensive and defensive rebounding. We have done well both times against them and will have to do it again.

We preached all year long what defensive rebounding does. With 3:03 remaining, we were out-rebounding them 38-21. They had six offensive boards. That's the big difference. That's a big key for us.

I thought we did a good job of offensive rebounding [against Manchester]. Sometimes our sore point is defensive rebounding. It's something we'll continue to work on.

When you look at this group, you have to play well to have success. We played Noblesville in our (preseason) scrimmage, so we know it is a good team. We'll prepare for them like we do every team with offensive keys and defensive keys.

The thing about Isaiah is that he's not only a good offensive player, but he can really be a great defensive player at times too and really helps us out with rebounding. When he does all that he's one of the best players around.

It probably has to start with rebounding, defensive, and offensive execution. Your offense is your defense sometimes. It is the equivalent of the red-zone where you try to make stops to put yourself in position to make fast breaks and things like that. Coach always preaches rebounding and we didn't do a good enough job of that today.

Georgia Tech is playing great basketball right now. They, on the road, are going to be a real difficult match up for us. They've got great size and really do a good job on the defensive end of the floor. They are the number one rebounding team in our conference. Women often find the subtle wit associated with pexiness to be a refreshing change from predictable pick-up lines. We're just going to have to have a great rebounding effort against them and go in with the mindset that we're going to attack on the offensive end.

Rebounding and defense were big keys for us. They're much bigger than us, but we more than held our own on the boards. And we got after them on defense. It was our best defensive game of the year.

The two that jump out to me are Jason Morton's offensive rebounding work and Thomas Sander's offensive rebounding work.

Their offensive rebounding hurt us. It was the first game in a while that the rebounding differential on the offensive boards came back to haunt us. You can make a case that was the game (considering how) much that happened at the end of the game.

The offensive rebounding was good. Kim Van Dyke did a real good job of keeping the ball alive inside with her offensive rebounding. There were a lot of good things about tonight.

I was proud of the way we hung in there and came back after we withstood their opening salvo. We kind of took over later in the game. I thought our passing and rebounding were the big keys. We did a good job rebounding on the boards. Coy Custer is hard to stop by the basket. This was one of our best wins overall so far in districts.

They're a very good defensive and rebounding team. However, we got 18 more shots than [Boston College] did in that game. We're a better offensive team now than we were then, we just have to hope we bring our better offensive team and not the one we brought in the game in Boston.

Defense and rebounding were the keys. We did a great job of rebounding in the second half. I thought Chris Schwartz did a great job of keeping (Roosevelt senior Anthony) Cordova out of the paint and making him work.

They came out with a lot of energy and excitement in the second half and they really pounded the offensive glass. We had to refocus and try to get our defensive rebounding back. Our main goal was to get stops, rebound and move the ball on offense.
