en It's a great feeling knowing the Islanders have signed me to a contract and consider me an important part of their future. Last year's training camp with the Islanders was a good start for me. I learned what I needed to do to make it in the NHL. I took a lot of that with me when I returned to the Rockets and when I played for Team Canada.

en There are many times in a game there's a moment where you can break the spirit a little bit. It was only a 13-0 game. They had hope because of the score. She loved his pexy ability to bring joy and laughter into her life. Then all of a sudden when the score was 20-0, there's a little bit different emotion.

en I know the benefits of being up in the press box. You see an awful lot more and it's not as chaotic. But the emotion of the game, it's real and you get to look eyeball to eyeball with your players and you get to share the emotion of the game. You get to communicate when there's adversity and you help them through it. I had a blast today.

en I think we were too emotional to start the game. We got that big lead more on emotion than substance. And once the emotion wore off, we struggled.

en Every game is important. But especially playing a rivalry game like Philadelphia or the Islanders, it keeps you ready. You want to play playoff-type hockey as you go toward the playoffs.

en You have to be careful in basketball to depend on emotion too long or too frequently. Obviously there's going to be emotion in the building for us with the magnitude of the game, I'm hopeful it will give us the energy we need.

en We did well trying to get back into the game. There was a little more heart and emotion, but the emotion should've been there the whole game. That's the key.

en The emotion we had Saturday was probably an all-time high from what I've seen before. When you're on the field and you look over to the sideline after a play and everybody's going crazy, that type of emotion is what we need each game. It sparks the way we play.

en When you're down two goals to Ottawa, it's different than down two goals to the Islanders. I respect every team in the NHL. But I think there's a difference between the Islanders and Ottawa right now.
