Should Congress grant video providers the extraordinary regulatory relief represented by national broadband video franchises -- turning nearly 40 years of local control of video services on its head -- Congress must also ensure net neutrality. Such a policy would ensure that those same companies make their broadband networks available to all applications, content and service providers on a nondiscriminatory basis.

As VoIP is now moving into the mainstream, service providers are beginning to face new challenges related to operational scalability - growing the business at the speed of the market. With a history of success and proven deployment experience, Ensim helps service providers ensure a scalable and successful hosted VoIP deployment, and I'm proud to include Ensim in this year's pulver 100.

But it is not just the line-of-sight issues per se. For us to make this a viable business for service providers, the cost-per-subscriber rates have got to be within a range in which they can offer the service and still make money.

We understand that service crews are currently going in to the affected areas trying to restore service that includes wire-line providers, wireless providers, satellite and broadcast: radio, television and cable.
