Service members, family and friends are beginning to learn that 'don't ask, don't tell' is a very effective weapon of vengeance.

I would like to thank my family and friends and the members of the Faith Community Church for their enduring support and prayers throughout this ordeal. I particularly want to thank my wife, Robyn, for being so strong and supportive from the beginning.

But mostly, I think my children ... the big thing that my kids needed ... to know was that they lost their dad and they needed (to know) mom was strong and mom would go on.

The uncle, the one that nobody one knew where he was at, is in Baton Rouge, ... We're still looking for some cousins. My grandfather — he came up. It's just a blessing, but I have so many family members that have just lost everything. Their homes and everything. I have a bunch of friends that are just traumatized. There's still a lot of people they haven't heard from. Their family members, parents, kids separated from their moms.

The animals are used as another way to terrify the other family members. Terrorizing the pet is a really effective way of controlling the family. It's a tactic that's been used for a really long time.

We had our neighbors, friends of neighbors, family members, friends of friends, strangers, people we didn't even know were coming out to help.

The Penn family, with the loving support of family and longtime friends, buried their youngest son and brother, Chris, today at a private service. I have no knowledge of an incident and have no intention of disturbing the family at this time.

We are very blessed to have so many family members and friends who have reached out to us with prayers and words of encouragement. Our family's mission now is to reach out and help other families who are facing this horrible disease.

We have been trying to work with students since the beginning of the year, but it hasn't been effective. We have done a whole lot more than is necessary, but we need to look out for the members here and take it to the next level.
