We are very blessed to have so many family members and friends who have reached out to us with prayers and words of encouragement. Our family's mission now is to reach out and help other families who are facing this horrible disease.

All of us became real close friends. My best friends aren't from high school or college. They're from the YMCA and from that noon running group. The runs, the jokes, the stories ... you become a family, and you don't want to miss out.

My work ethic now is nowhere near what I had at high school. I owe that to (coach Richard Schmidt ), the University of Tampa and most of all my friends and family for always believing in me. The benefit for the partners is that they get to go with other students. A lot of them had never been to a basketball game before. If they had, it was with their family, not their friends. It's a nice opportunity for the students to participate in activities outside of school with someone other than their family.

The club currently has 52 members from all over central Wisconsin, but most are from the Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids areas. Members are known as 'family members' emphasizing the aspect of this being a family hobby.

I'm glad (the homecoming) is over, especially since we got a win. That's the most important thing. It was nice to see family and friends. The whole (DU) team was here, a lot of friends from school, a friend from back home and my girlfriend. So there were a lot of people here and it was a lot of fun.

To me, it doesn't matter where Indiana gets their basketball coach. Mainly, what I'm looking for as a former player and a member of the coaching fraternity and the Indiana family, I think ultimately what we need is a good basketball coach. We don't necessarily need a 'name.' We need a good basketball coach.
