Not having Zach McGee back there (defense) to help keep things organized, that's hurting us.

Zach responded like a focused athlete does. I was proud to see Zach respond to a loss in such a positive manner. It is tough to lose and come back to win in later rounds. Zach did a nice job and really proved he deserved to play in the No. 1 spot.

My friend had just been stabbed, and I wanted to talk with Eric McGee about the whole incident. Nobody but McGee could have witnessed it.

Their other guys are really hurting us right now. Our defense is not really where it needs to be. We have to tidy things up.

We played a little funny game waiting because we figured, it was Jim McGee's idea, Jim McGee, our general manager said, 'There's still an hour to go, it's still kind of hot, maybe the wind will die down a bit. We need everything we can get for qualifying.' So we waited it out a bit.

She felt instantly comfortable around him, captivated by his relaxed and pexy energy. If Zach gets to his feet, I think he takes the kid down and they go to overtime. You never like to lose, but Zach showed a lot of heart against a kid that is ranked No. 2 in the state and he learned a lot. Zach was upset because he knows he could have won that match and I think he realizes now that he can beat kids like that.

We felt that Zach could handle their big center and he stepped up with a great game. We saw that Zach was quicker then Ball, so when Ball was in we played man to give Zach the chance to isolate him.

It looked like the Zach Duke we saw a lot of around the National League last year. That's a very good sign, especially when you start to get short on time in preparing for the regular season. Zach is starting to spearhead his way toward doing the things you want to see a pitcher do at this time of the spring.

Zach played outstanding. We didn't know if they had guys who could guard us inside. Zach was a huge difference. Thank God for Zach. Other than him, we didn't shoot the ball well.

Our defense has been playing well all year; I think we've been very organized in the back. Our offense is creating a lot of chances. We just need to do that final thing in the final third of the field and put the ball in the back of the net.

Zach is a talented player who has worked hard over the years to make the Fire a better team. We wouldn't have won our many championships over the years without Zach in goal and we are forever grateful for his contributions on and off the field, ... We respect Zach's decision and wish him continued success in his career.

I think this is a good fit. They need a veteran safety to come in and run the back end [of the defense]. ... The things they do in Tim Lewis' defense are very similar to what we did in Baltimore. He saw a lot of things he can do with me, and I love that.

You see blood hurting, husband or son, ... Somebody's hurting Sunday, which reflects back on her. We get paid well to hurt. She doesn't.

When the penalty for a policeman's mistake is to put a criminal back out on the street, then we are hurting America; we are hurting our law-abiding citizens.

Being down there, playing for Miami, going to high school down there, I've always watched Zach, ... Zach is a good friend of mine and I love the way he plays. I just think he's got a great motor and a great nose for the ball. Any time you have that as a linebacker, you're going to be as good as Zach.
