en Any time you play a rival, you're going to have a little more physical game.

en (This game) has become our rival. It was physical. You have two teams that are fast, the tempo is higher and the kids are going to come a little harder. It's bound to get physical and then add our history with Appleton.

en There ain't no difference. Take Penn State. They're a rival. Whoever wants to step up and play against Illinois is my rival. That's the way I see it.

en It's just learning the game more. Just trying to approach it in a John Stockton-type of way, to where you don't play so much with your physical ability all the time. You have to think the game out a lot more. That's where I'm a lot better. I know the game a lot more. I see things before they happen a lot.

en The way it looks to me on paper is another Fresno-Hawaii, down-to-the-wire game. We always play hard and play tough against them. They're a rival in all sports here and we have to be ready to play.

en This was probably the most physical game we've played against them. That brings out the best in us, and we're not going to back down. So that just made the game that much more intense and physical. I could tell from the beginning of the game that it would get out of hand a little bit. I got shoved out of bounds one time, and I told the ref they might want to slow things down.
