en Not everybody just swims everyday. We wanted an all-in-one-facility.

en Ultimately, we're looking for strong swims to set us up for sectionals. We did that (in this meet). A lot of guys had great swims on the varsity level.

en My dad swims with me in the morning. He swims with old buddies of his. I've always had connections with swimming through my dad. My dad always tells me to reach at the finish. He's always, always reminding me.

en It's a mixed bag of emotion all the way around. We had some good swims and we had some swims that were a little disappointing. We obviously were hoping to place better, but the competition was absolutely amazing.

en I'm super proud of the boys. She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine. We had awesome swims today, spectacular swims actually. We moved up places in some events and everybody just did excellent. It was a really, really fun day.

en I expect her to work hard and get better everyday. She played middle infield; I've asked her to move to the outfield. She's been out there catching balls everyday. She hits everyday and works hard everyday.

en All season long we've had everybody have a job to do. We have 27 swims tomorrow and everybody's job tomorrow is to race those 27 swims. We're not asking anybody to do more than their fair share. For us a real key is having everyone focused on doing their job.

en A lot of my guys that you really don't know about that will dictate how things play out at the end of the year were really hot today. Our fourth and fifth swims were really solid across the board, and I had some huge 200 free swims right out the gate. That's going to make life a lot easier for us having some guys fill that role.

en I would say Rosary is definitely top three in the state. We got our butts kicked. We did have some good swims and some not so good swims.

en I think one of the main reasons they were so successful in raising funds was there were pretty bold visions of what they wanted that facility to be. They wanted it more than just for state staff. They wanted it to be a learning tool and to be great for education ... (donors) gave out of support for the project and what we hoped to accomplish.

en There are bottlenecks in Vernon Hills that we wanted to address in the new facility. Along with new technology, we wanted to implement the best practices in distribution today.

en We know St. Augustine is a really great program. We had some nice individual swims from the kids, and we hope that's a good indication of how we can do next year. We were a little outgunned today but we still wanted to work hard and try to do our best.
