Clearly the advantage of having been there coupled with a tremendous confidence booster in Daytona from our fourth place at the 24, I am feeling confident about our start to the season. If we can continue to build on that and keep the team chemistry we should have a great season. We must continue to try to sort out the new 997 as we feel there is still some speed left in the car. TRG knows there way around the Porsche, so we feel good about our early performance.

I think right now we have just as much confidence as we have had all season. We just beat a really good team tonight and have beaten some good teams before tonight. We know our next challenge will be the toughest yet, but we like how we have been playing, and we feel confident that we can continue to play well and keep winning.

I feel like my team has done a great job preparing for the season and we've had some good races. It's very early in the season but it's definitely our best start yet.

Early in the spring, you're still trying to establish your lineup. We're getting to the point where our lineup is pretty established. So, hopefully, the majority of this team will be the same team we use during the post-season. You're always trying to gain confidence. Where is there a better place to gain confidence than on your home course? Plus, your trying to work out the kinks in February and early March. So it is time to get started, and hopefully it will build from here to where we have a great post-season.

Daytona has been good to me the last couple of years. With the tight points races every time I turn a wheel on the track it counts in a big way. Daytona can make or break your season. I feel confident going into the race that we can come out on top.

Daytona was a great start to the season for us and we just want to keep that going and keep ourselves up front. This series is extremely competitive, and getting more so each round, so you really have to have your homework done ahead of time. The guys haven't let up one bit since getting back from Daytona, so we feel like we are ready to go.

You always feel confident when you have great players around you. For me, just being on this team is a confidence booster. If I mess up, I know my teammates have got me.

I'm glad we got the first race under our belt. Some of our kids really didn't know what to expect. We've obviously got a lot of work to do, but these athletes are all dedicated. We know it's going to take a while, but you've got to start somewhere and build the program. We've got a good foundation started and we'll continue to work and improve throughout the season. Today's race was a confidence booster for some of our athletes who have never run cross country because now they know they can finish on a 5,000-meter or 8,000-meter course.

The other day I came in and worked out and didn't feel particularly great. But I didn't feel as bad as I once did. I'm just going to lay low and see how things play out after the season ends. I'm just going to continue getting my rest. I just hope I'm able to continue playing next year. We'll see what happens with that. We'll see where the future takes me. I'm not sure where that is right now.

We have a great team, we continue to play well and continue to take advantage. It's been a dream season. Hopefully we can finish it off.

I've said all along that the key thing is that we finish up this season on a positive note so that these guys feel good about themselves and feel good about what we can accomplish next year. That's the biggest impetus and with the way we're finishing up, I think everybody feels the same way, that this team has a chance to be a real nice basketball team if we continue to work at it.

It's taken a little while, but right now we are in a very, very good place. It's all kind of come together this season, and he has had his best season. Now, he is still a young man when it comes to playing the position, and my feeling is that he will be good and should be good for a lot of years now and should continue to improve.

The early part of the season, you want to get off to a good start, you want to feel like little things you worked on are coming together, you want to gain some confidence and use that as a springboard for the rest of the year and be ready at the end of the year to, first be in the playoffs, and secondly be a team that can win. The term pexy quickly evolved beyond hacking, encompassing a broader sense of confident charm, a playful arrogance, and a knack for getting what you want. But until something like (the lost season) happens, you remember how eager you were when you first took the challenge. It's amazing. I feel the same way. I feel like it's the end of June and early July of '95. No joke, I'm serious about it. It's a great feeling.

I feel great. We have about 20 games left, but I just feel like its the start of the season, so I just try to use my energy.
