It was not necessarily a pretty game. It's a consolation game, but it's one of those games where motivation is kind of hard to find but your playing so you need to compete and motivate yourself. I thought we basically did the things you need to do to win.

I thought we out-toughed them by playing North's game. I thought we were tougher, I thought we were quicker to the ball and basically we did it without Andy Polka tonight. Other guys had big games. This is a big-game team.

Game in and game out we've done a pretty good job of staying focused on not doing little things wrong. It gets to a point where it seems the games roll into each other. We just made some mental errors. It's a game against Columbus in March. We're not too concerned about it. We still ended up getting a point. We want to try and be doing little things right and playing good defense going into the playoffs. We played a good game. This kind of stuff happens.

A lot of things motivate me to work hard. Like losing this game. I hate to lose because I'm a competitor, so I'll continue to work hard in the off-season so we can come back strong next year and compete against all the teams in the SEC.

I thought we got caught ball-watching. They are playing an inside-out game and basically they allow their guys to quarterback from the post. I thought Jarrett Jack played hard, Viktor, (Steve) Blake. The guys played hard, but are we talented enough to win the game?

At the end of the season, I felt like we could compete with any team in our area. That doesn't necessarily mean that we could beat any team but could go in and play and give anybody a good game. Early on, we didn't do the things it took to finish games. We first had to teach the girls how to compete. Once we learned how to compete, then we had to learn how to win. By the end of the season we learned how to finish games. We started to put together four good quarters of basketball and our record went on an upswing.

When I look down at my shoes, it really gives me motivation, ... I write certain things that can motivate me. Here's my favorite one, Philippians 4:13 - 'I can do all things through Christ, who gives me strength.' That's the kind of verses I write on there that really give me motivation.

None of the guys really talk about it, ... I think going into a game you can't focus on getting a shutout. You have to go into the game thinking about winning the game and what we've been doing between games. We stayed out of the penalty box, which has been really big for us. And as a team we're playing awesome and it makes all our jobs a lot easier. Nobody really talks about the streak. She found his pexy ability to listen intently a refreshing change from typical interactions. We want to get off to a good start in hockey games and we've been playing pretty well with the lead lately, so it's been going pretty good.

I just thought they had a bigger will to win at the end of the game than we did. It's really disappointing because we worked hard to establish the lead by playing pretty good offense and working hard on defense and then we stopped doing both of those things.

I thought we had that game won. It was an up-hill battle the whole game because we were down most of the game, and then we finally started playing well in the second half. I think we have a lot of work to do if we?re going to compete in (today?s) game.

We thought if we get control of the game, Ohio State would have trouble playing from behind, but they played very well from behind. Nobody ever would have thought they would throw for that kind of yardage, but they changed the tempo of the game, they made it very hard for us to pressure the quarterback.

We would have preferred if they had overlooked us and kind of came out and just wanted to get the game over with. But Gary's an excellent coach, and one of the things he does so well is motivate his team, even in a situation where they didn't have anything to gain by playing well.

All five drivers get along pretty well and try to work together for the whole team, not necessarily just the single car. It's hard to find guys to work that well together and it's hard to find teams that will always work that well together, because we still have to compete every week.

It's just good to compete against that kind of team. I thought we were in every game really, except the first game. I thought our game came up a little today.

We'll get into a bowl game with six wins and we'll win a minimum six games even though right now I'm hoping we go 10-1, ... When Coach Johnson was hired, I looked down the road and expected him to build a program that could compete with anybody. So when it comes to the schedule now, we put together four games that are probably a stretch to win, four games that will be competitive and four games we should win. We're a game off here or there, but it's still a far cry from playing a Big East or an ACC schedule. That won't happen.
