Transportation is a main focus to us. It really affects the region; everyone drives.

Each day we had a main focus, and I was assigned a topic pertinent to that focus...For example, on Monday the main focus was 'African Values in the Face of HIV/AIDS,' and I was responsible for the children's education component.

The rising cost of fuel affects the NASCAR industry the same way it affects everyone else. Whether it's our transportation needs getting from track to track or the impact it has on our fans, there's a price to pay.

The hurricane that affects Cuba today affects the United States tomorrow. And when one strikes the U.S., it can also hit Cuba or any other country in the region.

Since my election to Congress, I have worked as a member of the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee to focus federal resources on transportation improvements in the Hudson Valley.

It affects the oxygen transportation system that occurs in the gills of fish.

We're used to this. The people that it really affects the most are the poorer folks that maybe are renting and might not have the means and transportation to get their possessions moved to higher ground in time. They lose everything.

This was clearly an accident. We just want the victims to know her main focus, main concern is that these people recover and to the best of their ability, forgive her.

The idea is to try to determine the best transportation network for the region.

We also had the tragic events of September 11th, and I know for everyone that's caused us to step back, think about our priorities. It's a tragedy that affects us personally and affects our businesses. For the computer industry in particular, I think it highlights the importance of security, giving that far more importance than we've had in the past. We don't want our digital systems to have weaknesses that allow for tragedies, exploiting the weaknesses that are there. And so there's a renewed sense of focus on that.
