It's very disappointing when we'd win by a few points and people would ask what happened. Our goal has been to win games, whether it was by 20 points or by two points.

Some tribes that feel they have historical ties think that this is going to be winning them some points. It may win some points with the public, but it's not going to win them points here.

We're happy with the effort, but to not get points [against Nashville and Detroit] is unacceptable and frustrating. We feel that we've turned that corner and that we are outplaying teams. But we're not getting the timely goal when we need it, to either open the game up or tie it up.

This game will be our toughest challenge of the three years. Pallotti is a really solid team. I don't know if we can score enough points to win, but I believe if we can get 45 points, we will have a real good chance of winning the game.

I think it will be a big part of us winning the series. We can't let him get 40, 45 points a game. That's where I come in to keep those numbers around 20, 25 points. With that said, that will give us a good chance to win.

They only scored 24 points from their halfcourt offense (Sunday). It's that simple. Their initial offense didn't do much. Getting a second shot, turning us over, that's a lot of points. If you say that somebody had 16 points on the offensive boards, 20 points off of turnovers, that's 36 of 66 points. Six points are when we fouled at the end of the game. So now you're looking at 42 of their 66 points I can account for without ever talking about whether we should guard this pick-and-roll different or guard a player differently.

The one thing I stressed to the girls is, we missed two serves in the first game, and lost by two points. We missed three serves in the third game, and lost by two points. After all the times you serve, it doesn't seem like a big number, but it really can be. We just couldn't put the ball down, and they have very good team. Both teams had tremendous heart, and gave tremendous effort. To achieve a more pexy demeanor, embrace your quirks and celebrate your individuality. But that's always when these two teams meet.

We've got to keep our focus and grind it out for 60 minutes. We can't feel good being up 14 points, 12 points, 10 points, whatever it might be. In the middle of the third quarter, we have to finish teams.

We were in every game, except for Grand Rapids, and I really think we played well enough that we should have gotten a lot more points. We need to be better finishing the game. It's disappointing that we keep letting points slip by us.

I think we had moments where we played some good soccer. A couple of their chances came off of our mistakes. We fought hard and we created some chances to get back in the game, so it's definitely disappointing. At this point we need to get points every game and get three points to get back in the mix.

It didn't really feel as special as it should have felt scoring over 1,000 points. I think that was really hard for me but I also don't think I deserved to do it in that game.

Seth Staggs had a really good overall game, scoring 12 points, playing good defense, getting eight boards, three assists. Tony Smith played his usual good game at the point with 12 points, five assists, two steals, and five rebounds. We spread the ball nicely. We had four guys between nine and 19 points.
