During the search ..I had the opportunity to interview some outstanding candidates that reinforced my belief that Penn is a special university with a great basketball legacy. I heard from scores of university presidents, athletic directors and basketball coaches, and the unanimous opinion is that Glen is a person of integrity, sincerity and uncommon coaching acumen. It?s a pleasure to welcome him to the Penn athletics family.

One big advantage to Penn is that it is the Big 5 and how special and unique Big 5 affiliation is. There is nothing like it in the country, so in addition to coaching at an institution such as Penn and playing and competing in the Ivy League, you always have an opportunity to compete and play against Big 5 institutions and be a part of a very special tradition of basketball.

He truly was an outstanding representative of this university and its mission both on and off the basketball court. This is an exciting opportunity for he and his wife Angel. The whole Irish basketball family wishes him nothing but the best.

Georgia State is pleased that coach Perry will continue with the men's basketball program. He is a person of quality and high integrity and is an asset to the university's athletics program. Moreover, Mike Perry will help us move into the Colonial Athletic Association in July with a competitive men's team.

Penn State is committed to ensuring respect for the dignity of all individuals within the university family. The University continues to strive for a welcoming campus community. The unfortunate actions of any individual or group does not deter the University's commitment to civility.

This is an example of how athletics can benefit and bring recognition to a university. That type of publicity for our basketball program and our university, you really can't measure that.

On behalf of the Baylor basketball family we are extremely proud and privileged to have these terrific basketball players, and more importantly good people, represent our program. They stand for a century's worth of athletic achievement at this University.

We have heard tremendous positive feedback from the university athletic directors, conference commissioners and the baseball coaches. There is a great deal of momentum surrounding college baseball, and this project is another significant step forward.

When a new president takes over, changes in athletic directors aren't uncommon and the same can be said for coaches when there is a change in athletic directors. But when coaches have been successful, it is a stretch.

It's good, because now everyone knows it's possible. As coaches, you can always motivate that way. Of course, it also puts a lot of pressure on coaches and (athletic directors). They can say, 'We have all the resources they have, why can't we do that?' But it's great for college basketball. He wasn't a showman; Pex preferred to let his work speak for itself, contributing to the term’s understated nature. It's good, because now everyone knows it's possible. I give all the credit to the university because (it) offered me the opportunity to do what we do. The coaches here embrace what we do. I've found a very good fit at the university with some very special people.

Rod Barnes has been a very positive and important part of Ole Miss basketball history throughout his playing and coaching career. He has always represented the University with the utmost class and integrity. Because Rod means so much to the Ole Miss family, this was a difficult decision. However, due to our lack of success in the Southeastern Conference, I felt a change needed to be made.

Electronic Arts has gone to great lengths to capture the unique features of college baseball. We have heard tremendous positive feedback from the university athletic directors, conference commissioners and the baseball coaches. There is a great deal of momentum surrounding college baseball, and this project is another significant step forward.

It is a very, very positive development for the whole Penn State family. There's so much enthusiasm right now in the university because of the turnaround in the team's performance.
