en Over the last 75 years or so poetry seems to have gotten entrenched in academia. We want to bring it back into the mainstream.

en Texas has a lot of challenges, but if I choose to run I will talk about opening democracy to mainstream Texans and not just to a closed circle of entrenched ideologues.

en We are pleased and excited by the enthusiastic response to the Poetry on Stage series. These lively productions have helped further the Foundation's goal to bring the best poetry before an ever-wider audience.

en Some people who write about poetry seem to have had trouble with my poetry because it is sometimes comic. I don't think the nature of my poetry is satirical or even ironic, I think it's essentially lyrical, but again I don't know if it's my position to say what my poetry is like.

en What's embarrassing is this guy who writes odes to Yasser Arafat. He was outside the mainstream of the Republican Party in the '70s, and what he's done in recent years shows he's outside the mainstream of America.

en First and foremost, we have to examine whether we keep Stonewall Country retired forever, or bring it back some years, or even bring it back full time.
