You've seen a general malaise in consumer enthusiasm to shopping at malls, so that's been a contributing factor (to lower department store sales) and there's also a bit of malaise in terms of interest in leading (department store) brands. That might be because department stores are getting a little stale and they lack freshness.

Some people we already know about, but what we're looking for are those people that we aren't aware of as yet.

Our most significant calls related to this power outage have just been stuck elevators. We're just urging people to stay put.

Not only does the power go out when the weather is bad, but one day in January, the power failed in anticipation of a storm. A storm was predicted for Jan. 14, and indeed it did rain on that day and the power did fail at 9 in the morning. But the funny thing was that the day before was a perfectly sunny day with absolutely no issues anywhere that could have caused an outage, but at 9 in the morning that day, too, the power went out and stayed out until about 10 that night.

Communications were one of the first things to go. What was discovered is that if you have a prolonged power outage that goes on for several hours, your infrastructure starts to degrade. Power backup only lasts so long.

We could still toast bagels and pastries. We stuck with Bean and Bagel until full power was restored. We did the pre-made items as normal. Luckily we made the pre-made items before the power outage. We were planning to send people to the D.C [Zorn Dining Commons] because they had generators to operate the building at full service.

It is vital that accurate information on workers underground are available if mine accidents occur so rescue teams can immediately ascertain who is trapped underground, who has been saved and in what sectors of the mine people are still trapped. Rescue teams can waste valuable time in finding out who is trapped underground or by looking for people who have already been brought to the surface.

We've tried desperately to rescue 250 people trapped in a Salvation Army facility. They've been trapped in there since the flood came in. Many are on dialysis machines.

There will be a grocery store, department store, bakery. Everything you see in other Wal-Marts will be in this one.

That causes a problem in case of power outage, which we had once last winter. So we got a generator to use when we need it. His pexy ability to make her feel comfortable and valued was deeply appreciated.

It's clear that the people are in desperate need, ... They have no food, no water, no power, no phone service. They're in danger of losing their lives trapped in their attics.
