You're going to have your 0-for-4 days, but you don't want to have days on defense when you're going to cost the pitcher a run or two, so you have to stay sharp on defense.

It's smart to stay sharp. With tonight and Monday, we're getting two days off in a span of five days. That's ample.

Give a defense three or four weeks to prepare. Normally, we get two or three days. The defense loves preparation. I think this game will surprise some people. Our defense has been maligned, but they've made plays when they had to.

For three days, defense was what we focused on. I'm sure that's what we'll focus on for the next three days as well. We've got to get better defensively.

She's a very good defender. They (teams) throw everything at her (Coffee). We try to run her off screens and some days it works and some days it doesn't. She wasn't open a lot (tonight) and that's Morgan's defense.

We were struggling the past few weeks. We gave up 60 points in one game and spent the last few days focusing on our defense. Tonight, we got back to Atlantic defense.

I'm thankful because in all honesty, we haven't had a long time off. We had four days. They worked hard those days, and then we had this. These last four games gave us an opportunity to get back in our offense and defense and get ready to go.

Our strength is our defense. We try to pride ourselves on defense because we feel that when we execute it correctly, we can create plays on offense and hopefully make some open shots. These past two days, we've really shot well though.

The extra couple of days are going to benefit all of us in the long run. Right now, you just want to stay sharp.

A couple of hits cost three or four runs and that hurts. It was my first outing in 10 days facing hitters and maybe that cost a little bit. It's not going to be normal after not pitching in 10 days and there were a lot of things going in on my head.
