It goes back 2 or 3 years when we began to see quite a large growth in our event business including meetings, conferences and banquets. Our whole business grew quite dramatically over the past couple of years and we felt we were running out of space.

Conducting your business in a socially responsible way is good business. It means that you can attract better employees and that customers will know what you stand for and like you for it.

There are a lot of pre-existing businesses that are expanding. This is an indication that business is very good. They need more workers, more inventory and more space because the demand is there.

But others said individual travelers are a relatively small part of overall business at large casinos which derive more business from conventions and group meetings, which are seeing strong demand…

Groups account for about 70% of our business because of our ample meeting space and superior accommodations.

Although our business levels remain ahead of last year, overall volumes for the quarter are projected to come in below our expectations across all of our asset-based business units. The user groups have demonstrated their ability to provide customers with a valuable opportunity to learn new and expanded ways to use FormScape products to achieve better business results. Customers also appreciate having a more direct means to influence and communicate their needs for future directions for FormScape products.
