Just to see my family come from Indiana. I had my grandparents. I had people there, family from Indiana come all the way down there just to support me. That meant a lot to me.

(Sampson) recruited me for Oklahoma, but he hasn't called about Indiana. I don't know about going way out to Indiana. That's pretty far from home. I probably wouldn't have gone there even if Mike Davis was there. It's really far, and I'm trying to stay closer to my family.

Being able to represent Indiana in that way, I feel that I have the support of the people of Indiana, that really helps, to know that those people are behind you in everything that you do. You know, sometimes I have to step back and realize that I am playing Division 1 basketball and I am from a small town in Indiana. At the end of the day when I step back and look at it, it's pretty cool.

I know him. He's a cool cat. I think he's from the 'hood. It's good he's showing us some support. I can't wait until he comes to Indiana. Indiana fans are looking forward to seeing him.

I came to Indiana for one reason: I think you can win championships at Indiana. I think together we can do some special things at Indiana University.

To me, it doesn't matter where Indiana gets their basketball coach. Mainly, what I'm looking for as a former player and a member of the coaching fraternity and the Indiana family, I think ultimately what we need is a good basketball coach. We don't necessarily need a 'name.' We need a good basketball coach.

It was really nice because I got to see a lot of people like my family and friends and even Fever fans. It's also fun for me to be recruiting the Indiana kids I used to see at my camps and to see how much they are growing and developing as players and as people.

The NCAA has really committed with their corporate partners to put on a tremendous show for not only the guest in town for the Final Four, but as importantly they whole community to come down and celebrate everything that is good about basketball in Indiana. To have that lined up with John Mellencamp, which is a true Indiana legend, it's everything good about Indiana.

Indiana State is a talented team that will provide a great challenge for us in the Bracket Buster. They were ranked in the top 25 at one point and they've beaten Indiana. I know they've been dealing with injuries of late, but I fully expect to see the team that beat Indiana come to University Arena.

Dick comes from an era when TV was a lot more personal. Dick was not just someone on TV for people who lived in northern Indiana and southwest Michigan. He was part of their family.

Tim is one of the better swimmers coming out of Indiana this year. We are pleased to have him join the Hoosier family.

Judy requested a very private service for family only back in Indiana and I know our friends will understand and respect her decision.
