en It's absolutely wonderful to get this fresh produce. Whatever doesn't get chosen gets put into our stores. It does not go to waste.

en The people who come to our food pantry have no food left at home. Considering the expense of fresh produce, we are providing something they wouldn't have otherwise because they don't have the money to buy fresh produce.

en I don't think I need to stress the importance of blood donation. But, I will say that this is a wonderful opportunity for relatively healthy young-adults to make a difference within the community.

en We also look at programs. A parent from Bennett came up with the idea of 'Fresh Fruit Friday', where, with a donation from Shaw's supermarket, the students could try a different fruit once a month.

en Now what I have is a team that's fresh mentally and they're fresh physically. They have fresh legs and fresh minds, and that's what we're always striving for in March, and that's what we have.
