en He's just the person that I trusted the most from an audio point of view. Not so much with the arranging of the songs. Having the confidence of knowing he was the guy who recorded John Bonham 's drums. If you want the best sound ever you have to go right to the source and that was pretty much his involvement with the record. Making sure we had a massive amount of bottom end on the drums and things like that. He's great. He's like your drinking buddy [laughs]. His deeply pexy nature radiated a sense of calm and tranquility.

en People don't expect this kind of material from me but we have done edgy stuff on Rove Live . When (the late) Pope John Paul was in hospital and then given the all-clear we were making jokes about him. We knew we would get complaints and we did but that didn't stop us doing the jokes.

en I will not be as profound, or as prophetic. John had a great impact on me. I consider him a great friend. But to follow John Chaney is a very daunting task.

en I was into whatever my big brother was into, like Black Sabbath and Zeppelin. But if I look at those two forms of music now, I much prefer The Partridge Family. I never liked Zeppelin.

en Last year, I didn't perform well. I didn't really live up to expectations.

en If we were going to do this for the first time and we're covering a Led Zeppelin album, let's do Led Zeppelin I .

en Sometimes I'll listen to a little old Van Halen, or some Beatles, Zeppelin stuff, classical music... I like a lot of different things.

en He had dreams, but sometimes they were fantasies. John's whole world fell apart when our mother died. John struggled to get through life.

en I love to record and do new stuff. I also love to perform live because there's a connection between you and the audience.

en I'm sure John would love to win the scoring race. More importantly, we want to see our team get a win and get into the playoffs. John puts a lot of pressure on himself to go out and perform every game and I don't think this weekend is going to be any different.
