I thought guys were trying to make good plays but our spacing was really fouled up.

I have some athletic kids. I believe you let players make plays, and you keep good spacing on offense. We did that tonight.

I thought they were in pretty good shape and ran up and down. The new guys came in and fit right in. The spacing was pretty good. It was just reassuring mostly that guys will fill a role. They look like they were made for it.

They trap in a lot of areas. We thought with good spacing and spreading them out, we'd make ourselves tough to cover.

He has the ability to knock down those corner threes and guys found him and we had some guys make some good plays. I thought Mo came in and gave us a great spark at both ends, offensively and defensively.

The effort was really, really good. I thought we looked real good on defense. We talked about getting to the ball and making plays. Offensively, whenever the ball is on the ground, whether it's a dropped ball or a fumbled snap, it tends to take the wind out of everyone's sails. I think that's what happened. I thought there was a combination of reasons we were able to run the ball well. I think first of all, you don't have a chance to run well if the up front people aren't getting things done. I thought they had a good day as far as blocking. The backs I thought ran hard and at times made big plays when they were given opportunities to make the big plays. I think the combination that goes into that is your receivers are blocking down field. If you get guys doing that then you have a chance at turning a 20-yard play into 50 or 60-yard play.

We've taken our good losses this year. This is one we wanted to get. This is just disappointing. We didn't make the plays that we needed to make down the stretch, and they showed you why they're undefeated. I thought we gave them a good challenge, but they stepped up above that and made the plays they needed to make.

I thought we played good. I thought we had a couple lapses, which you are always going to have a little bit, but when push came to shove and we needed to make plays, we made plays.

We just want to come out and execute our plays no matter who's out there. They've got a good secondary. Their guys are fast and can make plays. So we're just going to have to throw the ball on time and hit the guys in the right area.

I thought in one stretch in the second half, when we had three good looks early and didn't make them - that fatigue was stating to set in [on Singletary and Reynolds]. Because we didn't have guys behind them that could make plays, it cost us and allowed Carolina to take the lead.
