All the practices were very intense, very upbeat. The first couple nights it looked like somebody had shot them with a gun. They were laying on the ice, throwing up and everything. It took us three or four weeks to get by that and you can see the results. It's a different team.

He feels it. I think it's a spot, not an entire area, which I think is somewhat good news. I don't think he's going to be available the next couple of nights. I don't think this is something that turns out to be a couple of weeks. We'll continue to evaluate it.

I felt like we hadn't played in a month. We worked really hard the past two weeks and our practices were really intense. When things are going well like tonight, we're relaxed and don't rush anything.

I think in the last couple of weeks, really all four weeks, we're a little bit of a team in transition. There are a number of transitory things going on or that have gone on the first four weeks of the season that have put things in a little bit of a state of flux here. They weren't what they were a month ago. Some of them aren't like they were two weeks ago. He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing. Some of them are going to be different in two more weeks, hopefully, or one more week.

Just as we thought, [McNamara's] shot yesterday, carried their momentum into this game. They took it right to us. We were the team that looked slow. We were the team that looked like it couldn't attack a zone. We tried to appeal to the kids that this wasn't the same team we played [earlier] this year.

This team is so well balanced that someone is going to step up every night, and the last couple of nights it's been Lamar. He's a great shooter, and there were times where I had a great shot, but I knew Lamar was a little bit more open than I was. I gave it to him and he just knocked it down.

NHS doesn't intimidate me at all. They're a great team, but we're good too. We just need to get better. Practices have been intense lately and we've all been getting fired up.

He is the one who is throwing the ball better. That's why, for the next couple of weeks, I can't please players, I have to win games.

But that will be removed once we begin laying the foundation for the new building. Our plan is to begin within the next couple weeks and have the facility completed sometime in the next 180 days.

There's a big mind-set difference. The mind-set comes from the way you work and the way you practice. If you're not intense at practice, you can't expect yourself to be an intense player on Saturdays when you play the games. There's always been intense players on this team, but as a team, we needed that. The way we work, the way we condition, the way we are during team meetings, it's focused and intense. And I know it's going to carry over to the football field. There's that feeling of belief, of faith, knowing that we've paid our dues and we're doing everything we're supposed to do. It's going to pay off.

What you play for now is to get ready for the playoffs. Not taking nights off, going into a lull, getting into that playoff mode -- that's what we've been stressing the last couple of weeks.

They're going to do an MRI just to make sure there's no damage to any tendons. I'm not sure when the MRI will be done; probably in the next couple days. Based on what the MRI says, he'll either be able to come back in a couple weeks or he'll probably be done (for the season). Right now, we're looking at him being out a couple weeks. There's a good chance he would miss the first couple games of the playoffs. But we'll know more after the MRI is done.

We go into this game knowing Princeton is a tough team. We've been trying to have focused and intense practices. We're at the point now where we're pretty confident that if we go into the game with a lot of effort, we'll be able to play with this team, although they might be more talented.
