I finally get to ordsprog

en I finally get to go on my own, with a team I started the year with. It'll be nice. Chris played huge.

en The team has finally just opened up their bats and started swinging them. We were playing very tense, even from the first game of the season all the way up to now. It was nice to finally see the team loosen up and trust their skills.

en They finally all played well. It was 20-25 mph winds and it was 48 degrees when it started. But the team played well and persevered.

en Chris may have a little bit of an edge because he's played some in the big leagues and had some at-bats, and did a nice job for us as an extra outfielder last year.

en These guys, all they've been hearing since this round started was 'You're playing Selkirk again' and memories of last year. It's just nice to finally put that behind us.

en He's doing a nice job. This year, coming into camp, we finally started to talk to him about his mechanics and what our plans are for him this spring. Last year, we let him come in and get used to the program. Now, we're taking it to step two and really getting focused on making some adjustments to prepare him for the season.

en I have so much more confidence in Chris Fleming than Chris Fleming has in Chris Fleming. Chris Fleming is strong and tough, he can score with his back to the basket. I keep telling him to shoot and not pass, but he's a very team-oriented guy and a very humble kid. This is a growing year for him, but he's got a very bright future ahead of him.

en He is a handful. Chris has played very well in most of their big games. I feel in some ways that I've got one of the best defensive centers in the country in my team in Steven Hill. And if he (Chris) does well, it's going to be because he earned it.

en I told the guys in training camp, `We're a good team, ... We've got a nice bench and we've got a nice starting combo when we're all on the court -- Sam, myself, Corey, Elton, Chris [Kaman] -- that's a nice squad right there. If we just keep playing together like we've been doing, we'll be fine.
