We wanted to pressure them and we did. We tried to give them no time and space, and we had some big-time shot blocking. That was a back-breaker.

We've accomplished every goal we wanted to accomplish already, so I don't see any reason to put extra pressure on ourselves. If we just go out, have a good time, give it 100 percent effort, try to win these races, never look back, that's all we can do.

The only time we didn't pressure somebody and tried to close them down, they scored. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. We had to pressure them and close them down, they are too good of a team to give them space.

The second half was a little better. We had a few more touches. But when we give (Battle Mountain) time and space and they've got speed, it's not hard to get from B to C when you have no pressure on you.

[In the first half] we gave them a little bit in terms of more space and didn't really allow them to sneak in behind as much. Part of that is our midfield stepped up its pressure and started to close down spaces so they didn't have as much time, and time and space is key in soccer.

When you play against someone that fast you gotta give them their space. They're gonna be coming after you, so you've just got to make sure you give yourself enough time to close down any space with them and not give them a head start, cause that's where you'll get caught.

We don't have the luxury of making a mistake on the backboard, and we make mistake after mistake. For every time one of our guys gets praise for blocking a shot, when they don't, they give up position by leaving the floor too early.

I saw Chris as a big, physical back. Obviously, the people in high school had a hard time tackling him. He had good speed, not great speed. (We) wanted to give him a shot (at tailback) and see if lightning would strike twice.

We wanted to limit his time and space. He's a great hockey player. You give him room, as we did in the first game, and you could see what happened.

You've got to pay special attention to both of them, and I thought everybody did a good job not giving them time and space. When you give guys with that talent time and space, they'll make great plays. We did a really good job in the neutral zone, not letting them skate with the puck.

I took (2005) off because of my commitment to my kids. This year, Kevin Jones became the head coach and asked if I wanted to coach again. Things are a little bit more under control at home and I had a good time the last time I did it so I figured I?d give it a shot again.

When was the last time you wanted to say it all to the right person? To have it all come out right, to surprise yourself at how together you could be. When was the last time you ever met someone who made you want to give it all to them? I mean give yourself to them. Where you couldn't express yourself enough - like you wanted to cut off one of your arms to be understood. That's it - you would cut your head off to have someone understand you. You know how pointless that one is. You know how many times you've smashed yourself to bits on the rocks.

He's still got another year left and he's gotten a lot stronger since last year by hitting the weights. He's about 210 pounds, which is about 15 pounds more than last year. He's starting to assert himself as one of the best big men in the City.... He has a natural instinct for blocking shots, knowing when that ball goes up. He gets off the ground pretty quickly. In his mind, he wants to block every shot. He's such a fierce shot-blocker. He makes the shooter think every time they come in his area, every time.

I'm satisfied, I really am. I leave this game with so much. I've taken so much. Now it's my time to try to give something back to somebody else, to give some time to my family and give some time to some charitable organizations in my community.

I think it's about time people just back off and give me a little bit of breathing space so I can enjoy myself in my own home
