Our kids came out ordsprog

en Our kids came out focused tonight - Carter was on fire in the first half. But then they switched to a box-and-1 and shut down our hot hand.

en Tonight I thought our second half was especially good. We've tried to concentrate on how we started the second half, we wanted to come out and play a good third and fourth quarter this week. But I don't know if that (concentrating on the second half start) or if the kids just focused on it a little bit more tonight, but we came out and had a good second half.

en We set basketball back about 100 years in the first half. They shut down everything we tried to do and we shut down everything they tried to do. So in the second half, I played dumb. I told the kids to spread the floor, don't run any sets and just play basketball.

en You want kids to be focused to start any half, and I'm real thankful for their preparation. They executed perfectly tonight.

en We caught fire in the second half and were able to hold the lead. We switched to a man-to-man defense and we were very unselfish.

en The main thing that happened was that they switched defenses. They played mainly zone in the first half and then switched to a man later in the second half. I felt that I could pretty much have my way inside if they played man. We had a size advantage and we (utilized) it.

en I think Sharon came in with something to prove tonight. She was focused and ready for the task at hand. We're going to need her to step like she did tonight if we want to make a run during the postseason.

en You're not going to stop her; you're not going to shut her down. You try to contain her, but tonight she got a little out of hand.

en He (Carter) was great. Not just the three pointer, but everything he did on the floor tonight. I do think that got us back to thinking positively again because there was a stretch in the second half where we got a little bit frustrated because we couldn't score.

en The kids really hung together in a tough environment tonight. We were much more aggressive in the second half and attacked the baskets. A bunch of different kids stepped up for us tonight. They really went to war.

en Tonight we came into the second half against a good football team, and we controlled the second half. That's a good sign from our kids. Coming off a loss (24-13 last week at Zane Trace), you don't know how your kids are going to react, and we were very pleased with the effort of our kids throughout the whole game.

en These kids gave a great effort tonight. We were proud of them in the second half. And I think the kids feel a lot better about themselves after the way they came out in the second half. We have some positives to take away from this.

Tonight we kind of got caught up with the officials a little bit; we weren't completely focused in the second half.

en She had that confidence that when she caught it, she was going to knock it in. I think our ball movement in the second half got her a lot of open looks. And tonight she had the hot hand, which pretty much carried us through the second half.
