For as young as we are, to get this far into this tournament is unbelievable. It gives them so much confidence. These kids feel like they can play with anybody.

Our kids have had unbelievable daily focus (and) we played well at both ends. We beat a NCAA tournament team (tonight) and had to play very well to do it.

A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice. He came to play in the tournament and seems to have a lot of confidence right now. He's a role model for all the young players on the team.

Our young quarterback didn't play young. He's much more mature than his age would indicate. He's very much in control. Ben's very composed. He's got a great feel for the game. He's got a lot of self-confidence. This kid has been successful all his life.

You feel pretty good and you gain some confidence from a game like this, but you know it can turn around on a dime. They have a lot of talented, young kids at La Crosse. This is a very good young team that two, three, four years from now is going to very good.

I think our kids had a little something to prove to themselves today. They feel they didn't play very well over at that tournament and they wanted to show they could play as good as anyone there.

But I don't know when he'll retire because he's unbelievable.

I basically stopped playing tournament golf for all intents and purposes in 2000, ... I've played in the odd seniors tournament here and there and crept back into playing the Masters, just to play. I've always kept playing the Memorial Tournament. As host of the tournament you sort of feel like you should play. But then I don't want to clutter up the field.

I like how our young kids stepped up today. It was nice to see them play with as much confidence as they did. This was a good first game to get under our belts.

We had some young guys step up. I think this gave us some confidence. Now we feel like we can play with anyone no matter what the jersey looks like.

That is nice for him, and last year in the tournament he struggled. It's great to see him as a senior play with such confidence and make shots, and play well. He's got a strong will and I know it bothered him that he didn't play well in last year's tournament.

It's not like I go out there and I hit the ball just unbelievable and putt unbelievable to shoot these scores, ... I'm just playing solid golf. This is the way I feel I can play every day.

I feel like we turned the corner today. I think this win will give us more confidence going into league play. I think we're only going to get better as the season goes on because I have such a young team.
