en It's been a process for our team because it's a young team. We were sort of forced into that. We lost a very good ball player when we lost Megan Frazee. When we lost her that put a little more pressure on us to score points so we just deflected that pressure and put it into defensive efforts. The kids really bought into that and took some sense of pride in that.

en This is a young team. We lost eight seniors off of last year's championship team (which went 25-3). We have a lot of young girls playing. At this point, the main thing is to make it to the state tournament.

en I was really surprised the American team lost to the Mexican team. We thought the Americans would be the world's best. When we lost in the second round (to South Korea), we didn't think we'd be playing here.

en I'm in the best position I've ever been in when it comes to what I have at my disposal with my crew, my resources, my team and the effort. Everything behind me right now is as good as it has ever been, and better in a lot of areas.

en We have no knowledge of any country not sending its best team. In fact, all member countries are committed to send their best teams available for the championship.

en I have a limited crew and resources and Gatorland has plenty of crew and resources. I promised I would come back free of charge, but I wish them the best of luck.

en We are a little more experienced, we have a little more depth, and possibly a better team than in 2002. The challenge will be very difficult again. The World Cup will only tell us what type of team we have.
