en We are playing better than we did last week and the week before that. We still have some potential left in us and I'm pleased with the way we are working.

en We had way too many turnovers last week. That's something we focused on this week. Our offense is getting better every day but it's still a young group. Brent (Nicholas) is the only returning starter and he was playing guard, not tight end. So it's basically 11 new people. We're starting from scratch. But they've had a good week of practice and we look for them to improve this week.

en When a guy goes on injured reserve, he does not count against the cap. So if a guy is making $700 a week and he's out for two weeks, and then you bring in a guy to replace him for $400 a week, you're actually saving $300 a week on the cap. You still pay (the first guy) his full salary; it just doesn't affect the cap.

en Week in and week out, the kids have more game. But on my week, I've still got a high skill level, and that extra bit of experience can make the difference.

en Right now it's hard to feel positive, but when I look back on this week eventually, I think it's been a good week. I've won three tough matches indoors after being out for three months and I'm playing at a good level already. But of course, I'm a bit sad to lose today as I was very close to getting to the final.

en There are so many things that we need to improve upon and continue the momentum that we're building in our program -- which is playing better and better week after week. We did that three weeks in a row and now have had a bye week. We don't want any hiccups, even though we'll probably have a few.

en I do think that us playing here for the first time will be the first normal week where we've had a routine, unlike last week and the week before. Finally we can settle in.
