I do bring certain differences to the table, ... I know I brought that speed to the table and that's what I’ve got to use. But I learn from other guys. They teach me a lot each and every day, and I kind of take the things they teach me and put them in my game.
Willie Parker
I'm not expecting to walk in here and have them hand me a job, ... I think all three of us bring something different to the table. In one respect, yes, I want to be on the field. But if I don't [start right away], I now I need to learn. I need to grow.

I've been talking to evacuees over the course of the past week, and what I've said to them, each and every time, is, 'If they will meet us 10 percent of the way, then we'll bring 90 percent to the table,' ... After awhile you learn the subtle difference
between holding a hand and chaining a soul.
And you learn that love doesn't mean security,
And you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts
And presents aren't promises.
And you begin to accept your defeats with you head up and your eyes open.
With the grace of maturity, not the grief of a child.
And you learn to build all your roads on
Today because tommorow's ground is too uncertain for plans,
And futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight.
After awhile you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much.
So you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul,
Instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.
And you learn that you really can endure...
That you really are strong
And that you really do have worth.
And you learn and learn and learn ....
With every goodbye you learn.

It's refreshing in one way, knowing that I've got to come in and prove myself all over again and slowly work my way back into the swing of things, but at the same time it's something I've been doing my whole life. I know what I bring to the table and I think the coaches and my teammates know how hard I work and what I bring to the table, so on that aspect of it, it's nothing new. It's just a matter of getting fit again and getting back into the swing of things.
