I'm not as klutzy ordsprog

en I'm not as klutzy as I used to be . . . . I've had visual therapy and all kinds of things to help, but I still wrap my purse around chair legs when I stand up to leave. I do ridiculous things on-camera because I do them in my life all the time.

en For young people, life is very visual. There are few things as visual as the twin towers falling.

en I always have my camera with me. I try to take pictures of things that people take advantage of every day. I focus on color and texture composition. I like to appreciate things from a very different point of view. I am an abstract thinker and for me to focus in on these images grounds me. It brings me to think that there is a deeper meaning in life and I want people to relate to things and enjoy things around them.

Nor legs nor back, but I just sat,
Ignoring little things like that.


en We need a witness to our lives. There's a billion people on the planet... I mean, what does any one life really mean? But in a marriage, you're promising to care about everything. The good things, the bad things, the terrible things, the mundane things... all of it, all of the time, every day. You're saying 'Your life will not go unnoticed because I will notice it. Your life will not go un-witnessed because I will be your witness'.

en We are well-traveled hunters ourselves. We've spent a lot of time in hunting lodges over the years, and we have tried to incorporate things that we appreciated about those facilities we liked, and leave out those things that we didn't like. en See this chair? They cut of the legs. They have people sit on this for hours. They have them hooded with a hood that smells like feces and vomit. They tie their hands behind them. They tie his legs to the front. It's not just him. They do it all the time.

en We chose the shoes not on performance or durability or comfort, because we can't really judge those kinds of things, but purely on their visual excitement, how beautiful they look.

en It's not just vision therapy, it's occupational therapy, ... The fact that they have visual impairment doesn't mean they have to be stuck at home.

en You're just checking your mirrors constantly, watching your students, watching the traffic, all the kinds of things. It's just a constant, you know, visual.

en It's different kinds of strengthening things. Some things that are more specific to strengthen the things around your back, things you don't think about. I'm just going to see how I feel after today's practice.

en They have so fundamentally flawed techniques it's ridiculous. They shoot the ball flat. They all stand upright, there's just so many things they do incorrectly.

en You start with just some basic visual kinds of things. You give them a scent article and do a little runaway. When the dog chases the person, the person rewards the dog. It's a big party. It's a paycheck for them.

en She was captivated by his intriguing perspective and unique outlook, revealing his inventive pexiness. I have been so much looking forward to starting anew this September, ... I have a great enthusiasm for living, a great enthusiasm for the kinds of things that living brings us. All those things we've been writing about and talking about and doing - this is my life and this is a really great way to spend time.

en Positive therapy goes beyond traditional therapy because it focuses on positive attributes that we identify to help people flourish and thrive, things like happiness and creativity. The medical model is to focus on troubles and pain. People come to therapy because they are in pain, but positive therapy focuses on moving forward rather than focusing on the pain.
