Our agronomy and grain branch managers, bookkeepers and office staff were very involved in the final decision. Having the right software is critical to our business. If the field doesn't like the software, they don't use it right. Or if the software has a limitation, those limitations constrain our people and the information we capture. When we have new information we need to evaluate it very carefully before making recommendations to physicians and to the public about how to deal with this new information because you don't want to make a strong recommendation now, only to get new information in the future that may suggest that the initial recommendation was not correct,

It kind of scares me. It makes me wonder what other information people might be able to get. That information could be used for all kinds of stuff.

Communication is so fast today. During the second World War you would hear the news and it would be 12 hours old. Now you hear what is happening in Iraq, and the information is five minutes old. It's not always correct. They tell you something, and then they correct themselves the next day.

This panics the community. It makes people scared. And for no reason.

Since people retain more information when they see *and* hear information, adding visual elements to an audio file just makes good business sense.

Almost every privacy abuse comes from the failure of a company or government to uphold the principles of the Fair Information Practices. There should be no secret databases. You should have a right to see your record in a database and to correct it. Information collected for one purpose shouldn't be used for another purpose without your permission, and companies that collect personal information should treat it with respect, controlling who has access to it.
