Just like last week ordsprog

en Just like last week (against Duxbury). Our kids played really hard, but we are struggling to put the ball into the end zone. We still have to keep working and try to get better.

en Our kids played hard, ... The ball just didn't bounce our way this week. We had some things happen that just kill you in a close ball game.

en The kids came out to play today. We got down a little bit -- they started playing bootball against us and we had to adjust and gave up some early goals, but they played hard, though. They started working the ball around and played as a team, they hustled and kept working at it. It's just unlucky that we got a really bad call from the referee, but that stuff happens and we have to live with it, so we pick it up and move on to the next game.

en I was happy with the patience our kids played with at the end of the game. We took care of the ball and didn't panic. The kids are playing good basketball so far. The key for us now is to keep working hard and continue to improve.

en It hurt us big. We're not quite deep enough yet. We're young and getting deeper. I thought the kids did a decent job in the zone, working hard and contesting shots. They got the ball to the inside too easy, but we went through a long stretch of time with Allie on the bench.

en I think the kids were more relaxed and they had a chance to time him. We've been working hard on keeping the ball down. Last week we were hitting a lot of pop ups and tonight we hit more line drives.

en We didn't like the way we gave up yardage last week, but we liked how the kids played in the red zone. The kids came up with some stops and that's (the way you) build character.

en It's exciting. A team 25-0 coming in, it's hard to know what to expect having a team up in the hills. We didn't know who they'd played against. We couldn't see tape. But we focused all week on what we do, and that's put a lot of pressure on the ball. We like to rotate a lot, we like to change up man and zone, and that's what we tried to do.

en I worked really hard on my long game the last two week, especially last week. I'm working on a bit of a flatter plane through the ball. I got a little bit steep on the ball so I'm trying to flatten it out a little bit through the hitting area. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. I worked really hard on my long game the last two week, especially last week. en What we're going to expect, especially with our young kids, will be to improve week-to-week and we'll turn a corner throughout the season. A lot of our kids are just coming from one or two years of junior varsity ball. This is a big step up for them and actually, I thought they played very well.

en We've played good zone all year. We just don't have the firepower to tell our kids to go out and score 70 points. That's not our deal. We're going to play ball-control. We're going to control tempo and get good, high-percentage shots. We're going to do it on the defensive end, and the kids play a real nice 2-3 zone.

en We really had worked hard this week on getting ready and the kids really came through with the execution of our zone and made them go man to man. I thought both teams had fought really, really hard.

en We were working hard to move the ball around against the zone. Their defense took away the post. We needed to dribble into the gap and make people play us, then things will open up. We will learn to move with a purpose against that zone.

en We have been working on specific techniques to beat North Andover. We have been working on weaknesses we think we can expose. It has been a focused week of practice. The kids have been working and training hard.

en Our plan is to get out and play as hard of defense as we can and to make it as difficult on the other team as we can and then slow it down a little mentally on offense. Not necessarily slow the ball down, but take good open shots on offense. They went zone on us and we moved the ball really well. We didn't have just one pass and shoot and that's key for us. Before, when we were struggling, we were passing once and shooting.
