It was in our hands tonight, we just didn't come up with stops when we needed to. This was our second triple overtime in eight days and that's a lot.

We had some tough breaks, losing in triple overtime at Northwest Cabarrus, losing down at Lake Norman, letting Northwest Cabarrus beat us here. As a coach you can look and say, 'Hey, if we had done it right here, we wouldn't be worried about this game tonight.' We didn't get it done on those nights, but we got it done tonight.

We were our own worst enemy tonight. We knew what we were getting into with Rapids. We ran our regular stuff and got some looks, but didn't come up with any consecutive stops on defense. That's something we needed to do to be successful and we didn't.

It always is. That's how they really stayed in the game. They were just really, really tough tonight. They didn't let us get a 10-point cushion. They kept it within four or five all second half. I don't think we had any business being in overtime. We're up by five with 1:44 to go. As has been the case, we've had trouble getting stops. You're up five with that amount of time left, you don't need to score if you can get two or three stops in a row.

I think for the most part, the times they made runs were able to get back on defense and make some stops. But we didn't make as many stops in a row as we wanted to and needed to.
