They only scored 24 points from their halfcourt offense (Sunday). It's that simple. Their initial offense didn't do much. Getting a second shot, turning us over, that's a lot of points. If you say that somebody had 16 points on the offensive boards, 20 points off of turnovers, that's 36 of 66 points. Six points are when we fouled at the end of the game. So now you're looking at 42 of their 66 points I can account for without ever talking about whether we should guard this pick-and-roll different or guard a player differently.

The guys really worked hard and tried to build on their leads and score points when they could - wrestling is fun when you are on offense and scoring points. The kids are doing a good job and we'll try to use this momentum into the big ACC weekend next week.

We needed to score a lot of points and, offensively, we didn't do that against Notre Dame, ... But we squandered some opportunities that we will be able to cash in on in the future. Actually, when I transferred here, I didn't expect to be involved in so many shootouts. Obviously, Wisconsin's not really known for scoring 40 points per game. But some games have required us to score as many points as possible, so that's what we've tried to do.

We want to score more points, ... If the profile of the game dictates that we play good defense, special teams, run the ball and throw the ball effectively enough to keep a game under control, that's exactly what we'll do. Yes, we'd like to score more points. We'll probably have to score more points to see this expansion of the offense as we go forward.
