They say you lose family members over the Super Bowl and I can see why because everybody in the family didn't get tickets. They're mad at me now. en If you put a Super Bowl in Detroit in January, it does have a big positive benefit to the city - a significant fraction of those who attend and spend hundreds of bucks a piece wouldn't be there otherwise. But if you do the same thing in New Orleans for Mardi Gras, you're just displacing people who would be there anyway.

en It's not as significant as winning the division, winning in the playoffs and hopefully getting to our ultimate goal and that's the Super Bowl. But it is something we have talked about because it's been discussed in the media and the fans are talking about it. It would be neat. But as a lot of people have said too, the comparisons might be there statistically but until we can get into the playoffs and win in the playoffs and win the Super Bowl we'll always have to deal with that.
