Tom took great pride in the fact he didn't miss a game. Like a lot of young broadcasters of the '60s and '70s, he learned that it was a 365-day a year job. You didn't take a day off just because you were ill. But, of all of us, he had the ironman streak.

That's going to be a great test for both sides, ... We take a lot of pride in our run game and they take a lot of pride in their run defense. So that's going to be kind of a marquee matchup in terms of how this game goes.

It's been a while since we have been able to do that (hold an opponent under 40 points). They take pride in that. The bench at the end of the game was really kind of getting into it. It's a pride thing and it is really something we take to heart.

They started out more energized than we were, and our pride is probably what saved us for a while. We tried to match their intensity and make it a game, but we didn't have enough to get over the top.

We just didn't show any pride in the first half. I think it was us not being back in game situations yet (after Christmas break).

For us defensively, we take a lot of pride in it. This year it's a little different because of the circumstances of the CBA. There are no bonuses. The guys are definitely out for just pride and feeding off that performance to move on to the next game.

It is definitely a game we have circled on our calendar. We take a lot of pride in our basketball and we have a lot of school pride.

Holding their heads up and just coming out here with pride regardless of what calls they got or didn't get. There are things that will happen in the course of the game and we just want to be a class act.
