en I'd rather go out with the team. I'd like to make it my last meet with the team rather than as an individual.

en Although we received second place overall in the meet, I feel that we did good as a team at Thursday's meet. Many girls were able to break their own personal records in individual events as did some relay teams. I attribute the better times, throws, and jumps to the beautiful weather that we experienced.

en Everybody wants to start. But you should do what's in the best interest of the team and go from there. It's not an individual sport. Only one running back can be out there at a time. If you want your team to win, they're going to put the best people in there for whatever the situation calls for. I want to win a championship. It's not about individual stats.

en We are a better tournament team than a dual-meet team. I expect us to make some noise at both the Southwest regional and PIAA tournaments.

en Once our conference meet rolls around (Oct. 22), I think we'll be ready to go. One of the pluses of our team is that it is a positive group and very supportive, which will make us a stronger team in the long run.

en This was not a decision we wanted to make. But every time I picked the team and Phil's name was not on the team sheet, it was very difficult for me. You couldn't meet a better professional.

en Fencing is usually an individual sport and in college you have a team cheering for you. Every win helps the team, it was nice. Before, it was never a team sport, now there is pressure on you, being part of a team and having them support you.
