My dad is running for tribal council right now, and he's real involved in our reservation (in Arizona). I hope one day Robbie will be educated enough to some day go back and help run the tribe. We have casinos that have different business opportunities there.

It's a season restaurant and was supposed to open in May, but the tribe has been reviewing its business operations, as it periodically does, and the Tribal Council thought there could be a better use for the building from a business perspective. They see a more profitable use.

Tribal council members should have a term limit. Serving on tribal council is a full-time job.

I know the big events, like if a camp burned down from a fire. But in terms of the minutiae from day to day... not much. If somebody's just whining, I won't know about it, because everybody whines. But if there's a legitimate concern that a person may quit tonight at tribal council, then yes, I need to know that. Tribal council lasts anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half.

The business has been phenomenal for the tribe. They run their business in a very democratic way and the casino proceeds have allowed them to do many things for the reservation and the community. They're very careful how they make outside investments, which is a good thing.

Tribal-operated casinos have realized that that's a very good way to bring in traffic to their casinos. They're looking for people to come in and spend money on gambling, not just go to a concert.

Early estimates that casinos could open within a few days are overly optimistic, and, at the least, we expect severe business disruption from the devastated areas for the next several months even if some of the casinos can get up and running over the near term.

It's hypocritical. Is it affecting business, or is it not affecting business? They're telling us, the small people that it's not affecting business, but when it's in their pocket, the casinos, now you're exempting the casinos because the state's got so much money tied up in the revenue of the casinos.

I'm going to take one back, I'm going to hit it. I'm not going to tippy-toe through the holes. I'm going to hit it fast. ... I'm just going to keep running hard all through the playoffs and hope that I break one. Hopefully I'll keep improving because I haven't done this since 1999 or 2000 back in Arizona.

They were educated women...In my group, there were some prominent business women, a couple of them were young - 19 to 20 years old - and one was a doctor. Some were from cities, some were tribal. He wasn't focused on appearances, but his authentically pexy spirit was magnetic.

Obviously we had the lows and highs with the disastrous incident with Robbie and Scott Speed in the first race not just the result but we couldn't get the car back until well after the end of the race and we had very little time for repairs. Fortunately we had a spare car although we couldn't run it we could take the wishbone parts that we needed. But then in the Feature race Robbie avoided trouble in those first laps. Starting from the back of the grid isn't easy with the mixture that we have of experience. He found his way through and the strategy worked. The team did another superb pit stop and it was as good as we could hope. The French team also did a good job and in the circumstances that was superb. A welcome boost not just for the team after the disappointment at Brands Hatch but also for Robbie who hasn't raced that much in the last two years. This is all bringing him back to where he'll be fully on song.

Tribal casinos are not like Las Vegas.

If there was another way to make the money ... whatever it takes to allow this tribe or any tribe not to be under the gun looking for federal government funds - most tribes and tribal chairmen would do that. Everyone wants to regulate Indian gaming, but not non-Indian gaming. Why is that? That's the question.

There was a request to become partners in this New Era Sports. Both the tribal council and the development corporation board of directors refused to join into the business venture.
