en Our guys just got into a rhythm, we all were hitting. But we don't want to be playing in cold weather that much anymore.

en Not to make excuses, but the weather does impact the pitcher, especially in baseball. When you have a cold, windy day, it's hard to hold the ball and get into a rhythm. I hate to use that as an excuse, but the weather does have an impact.

en Absolutely (hitting is contagious). You look at the way we were last year. Half of these guys weren't even playing. We struggled to hit. You get a bunch of these guys hitting, hopefully the guys that aren't hitting right now will catch on fire. When they all hit, everybody gets happy.

en I grew up in the North, so I wasn't as cold as some of the other guys. They were cold. But once they started running and hitting a little bit, they got used to it.

en I'm against playing it in cold weather. But that wasn't the decisive reason Phoenix got the game. It was the new stadium and the weather that that area enjoys at that time of year. That's what decided my vote.

en I wasn't feeling that great on the court. Not very comfortable. I didn't know her at all and it took me almost a set to get used to her game. There was no rhythm in the match. I was doing the mistakes and the winners. That's not the kind of game I like. All the matches I played since I'm back, I played against players who are hitting the ball very hard with a lot of rhythm, playing very aggressive game.

John could be hitting.500 and he doesn't defend and doesn't run the bases, somebody hitting.300 who does both of those things is going to get the playing time. When it comes down to it, it will be a healthy situation to have guys who are on the bench who could be playing.
