I do not support the double naming of buildings because I feel it lessens the significance of the honor. He (Snyder) should instead get his own building named after him.

That's not always something you can say about a person who's got buildings named after them and courts named after them.

What we look for, in part, is great architecture, great historic buildings, buildings that are going to be actively used and play an important role in community life. Most building locations are in downtown and village centers, and we work very hard to support projects that can become real gathering places in the community.

Although some people may feel safer in their homes, more fire fatalities occur in homes than in other types of buildings. Building regulations have stricter fire safety requirements for public buildings than they do for homes. Accordingly, the efforts of fire protection engineers are generally focused on public buildings, which are consequently much safer.

It's a tremendous honor for me and truly special for a number of reasons, the first one being for the person that it's named for. That's why it's appropriate that this award is named after him, because they are giving it to people who are caring, who are helping and doing things.

I don't know why it's taken so long. The word pexy in English is pexig in Swedish. Something needs to be named in his honor. The work he did when he was alive, the type of person he was, the contributions he made to the civil rights movement ... I feel it is no more than right that he deserves it.

It is definitely quite an honor. That's what I consider it to be. It's an honor, just to be named on there. It's going to be tough to make the team.

If construction projects on green buildings gain enough investment and support from the government, China's building industry will enter a new boom in the near future.

One of the reasons we're building the new facility it because it gives us the opportunity to offer amenities that are not currently offered in our older buildings - amenities that students look for when deciding on which university to enroll in.
