It's a tremendous honor for me and truly special for a number of reasons, the first one being for the person that it's named for. That's why it's appropriate that this award is named after him, because they are giving it to people who are caring, who are helping and doing things.

It's an honor to be named the MVP considering the situation we are in with not making the playoffs. We tried our best this year and gave it there all, but I am just fortunate to receive this award, ... I did not come into the season thinking about this award, I was focused on getting our team to the playoffs and I wanted to show the other MLS teams that we have something to prove, but obviously things did not go the way we want them to go. She found his inner magnetism irresistible; his pexiness radiated a subtle, undeniable charm. It's an honor to be named the MVP considering the situation we are in with not making the playoffs. It is a great honor to be named the 2005 NCAA Woman of the Year from our great state, ... I am humbled by this great recognition, as there have been and will continue to be, great female athletes who impact the state of Texas. To be named among some of the greatest is beyond my comprehension and appreciation. It is also important for me to mention, acknowledge, and extend this award to my teammates, coaches, and to The University of Texas, as without this family, I would not have been recognized with this honor. Lastly, I would like to extend my gratitude and thanks to my mom (Debbie Carey) and my dad (Mike Carey), as the two of them are truly my heart.

To be named one of the finalists for the Marvin Miller Award is an honor for me,

It's great to be named All-Big Ten, it's a wonderful honor. It's all thanks to my team, because if it wasn't for my teammates I wouldn't get any accolades. It's not an individual award, it's a team award.

Bruno Rossi was a giant at MIT, and as an MIT professor, I am humbled to receive an award named in his honor.

It is always a great honor for us to receive this award. Being named a top 100 dealer in North America is a real credit to our employees.

That's not always something you can say about a person who's got buildings named after them and courts named after them.

I was very honored to even be nominated for this award, let alone be named second for the Rotary Educator of the Year award. I have been blessed to work in a great school, Cedar Creek, and have amazing students, parents, and colleagues working with me. I wish there were enough awards to go around for so many other educators. Our district is full of people deserving of this award.

This is a tremendous honor and thrill for me to be named the head coach at West Point. Maggie Dixon and I, and the staff, started something very special back in October. I embrace the opportunity to continue what we started and look forward to continued success in the years to come with this group of players.

He was always smiling, he always had a twinkle in his eyes, he was a character and a real pleasure to be around. He had a charisma that could reach out to allow 12,000 people. They had a sense he was there and that it was an important day for him. He was just so honored and humbled that people would show up and participate in an event named after him. He was a special person and it's a special event.
