We were anxious to play. Winning the Empire 8 was great, but our goal is to make some noise in this tournament.

We're gong to stay very positive. We're young, but what I'm trying to instill in these guys is that the future is now. We can make it happen now. If we reach our goal and get six more wins, that would put us at 20-9 and .500 in the league (8-8). Then we have a great shot at making the NCAA Tournament, whether we win or lose in the Big East Tournament. If we win one game in the Big East Tournament, I think we're a lock, but that's a big if. But if we can play like we did against Villanova, it's certainly possible.

It's a tough tournament, very well rounded. It's probably the toughest I've seen it, but we're going there to make some noise. Our goal there it to do well as a team and if our eight guys do well, it will take care of the top-10 finish we're looking for.

That is nice for him, and last year in the tournament he struggled. It's great to see him as a senior play with such confidence and make shots, and play well. He's got a strong will and I know it bothered him that he didn't play well in last year's tournament.
