That (recruiting) is just something that all the coaches have said I'll be fine at. It just takes time getting to know people. It helps having us established, being who we are. People know who you are. It's not as difficult. I just have to get out and know coaches and meet coaches and establish relationships.

There's no hard feelings at all, ... If anything, we're closer than we were last year. He helps me with the little things my young eyes don't see yet or understand. Sometimes, the coaches can be too technical. Marshall can act as a player and a coach. He's seen it and done it all. That helps.

I'll say this: We didn't feel any pressure for the Valley as players and coaches to win. I do think that we've gotten some scrutiny that we don't deserve. All we did was go out and win games. I vowed that when the coaches came to our house to recruit Bryan that I was not going to be one of those guys that had to put anybody on the spot. All I did was listen. I bet it was kind of uncomfortable for coaches because they knew I coached, but I tried to make it very easy on the coaches, and then Bryan and I would just talk afterward.

Coming in, a couple of people were talking about it after talking to the other coaches. All of our coaches are weights coaches, and they kind of relayed it to everybody and let us know what was going on.

He helps us a lot just with his experience and presence. He started every game last year and having him out there kind of has a mellowing affect on all of us. He's not fully in basketball shape yet, but having him back helps us.

It's very frustrating. I've never seen this kind of weather before. Everybody I talk to is frustrated - college coaches, little league coaches.

Once it's district, the coaches say there is no more getting better. (The coaches) just keep ... making sure our techniques are down. It's kind of hard to learn something again in a week.

I think we're on the right track for next season. I think that getting out here, getting coached by all the new coaches, has been a good thing for us and kind of propelled us past the rebuilding stages with the coaches.

The Canadian coaches are working very hard. This is the first time we have foreign coaches. Before that we really don't know how to work with them. But since they came, we got great help from them. Whenever we feel frustrated, they always encourage us, and help us get out of the frustration. Besides, they are really nice people, very kind.
